Robulus

A Robulus is a teleoperated rover engineered on the official JUVANTIA ROBULUS PLATFORM printed circuit board (PCB) and running certified system firmware. Robuluses represent the primary mobile agents inhabiting the physical territory of the JUVANTIA Technopark.

1. Tripartite Architecture

Every Robulus consists of three core physical subsystems:

  1. Chassis & Body: Fabricated by independent maker workshops, 3D-printed, or custom-machined. Encloses internal hardware and defines the aesthetic silhouette and kinematics.
  2. Official PCB (JUVANTIA ROBULUS PLATFORM): The proprietary, standardized computing and motor control board. Third-party custom microcontrollers are not permitted.
  3. Standard Interchangeable Peripherals: Standardized motors, headlights, antenna, speaker, microphone, battery pack, and PWM servos. Using defined form factors ensures components can be swapped, upgraded, or resold on the secondary market.

2. On-Site Readiness & Physical Operations

When a Robulus is listed as active in the park, it is physically present on-site, installed in a charging dock, and immediately ready to drive.

  • Live Teleoperation: Piloting, low-latency video streaming, telemetry monitoring, and tactile commands run through the Juvantia Operator Deck (deck.juvantia.org).
  • Operator Role: Piloting and operational control are tied to the Operator role (operator_id). Holding a majority of $\ge 50.001%$ of total APU APU units allows an owner to assign themselves as the active Operator.
  • Leasing Out: Co-owners holding $\ge 50.001%$ of shares can vote to appoint an Operator with leasing permissions. Once authorized, the Operator configures Rental & Leasing Capabilities under Operational Capabilities to generate revenue from external drivers.

3. How to Acquire a Robulus

Citizens can obtain, order, or build a Robulus through several channels:

Juvantia Operator Deck

  • Instant Park Purchases: Buy a ready-to-drive Robulus (new or pre-owned from other Citizens) already deployed in the park and start driving immediately.
  • Catalog Orders: Order existing production models designed by verified maker workshops.
  • Rover Rentals: Rent an active Robulus for fixed time slots or recurring sessions.

Secondary Market (Trade Hub)

  • Fractional Equity: Purchase asset APU shares in EURC. Acquiring $\ge 50.001%$ of total APU shares grants governance control to appoint the Operator.

Mercatus Marketplace

  • Bespoke Custom Orders: Commission an independent workshop to design and construct a one-of-a-kind custom rover tailored to your specifications.

Technopark On-Demand Assembly

  • Build from Drawings: Submit your custom 3D CAD models and schematics. Technopark technicians will 3D-print the body, mount the official JUVANTIA ROBULUS PLATFORM board, install standard peripherals, and deploy the unit into the park.

DIY Self-Assembly

  • Maker Assembly: Purchase the official JUVANTIA ROBULUS PLATFORM PCB, fabricate your own chassis, connect standard peripherals, and provision firmware via Fabrica (fabrica.juvantia.org).
