Shelter Classes

Shelter structures in Juvantia are categorized into four main types based on their ownership, function, and strict safety protocols regarding mobile agents ("Robulus") versus stationary systems.

1. Private Shelter

  • Purpose: Personal residence, private storage, or hobby workshop.
  • Access: Restricted to the owner and authorized guests.
  • Robulus Storage: Allowed.
  • Stationary Systems: Allowed.

2. Commercial Shelter (Robulus Access)

  • Purpose: Business activity that involves the physical entry, service, or storage of mobile Robulus units.
  • Robulus Access: Allowed (e.g., for manufacturing, logistics, repair, battery swap, or retail).
  • Stationary Systems: Allowed.
  • Examples: Repair shops, warehouses, charging stations, logistics hubs.

3. Commercial Shelter (Systems Only)

  • Purpose: Business activity involving Teleoperated Systems (stationary cranes, manipulators, server racks, manufacturing cells) where mobile units are a safety risk.
  • Robulus Access: Strictly Prohibited (physical barriers required).
  • Stationary Systems: Core Feature (must be registered).
  • Examples: Automated assembly lines, heavy machinery zones, dedicated server farms with stationary maintenance arms.

4. Commercial Shelter (No Access/Storage)

  • Purpose: Purely digital or specific physical business activity that requires neither mobile robots nor stationary heavy systems inside.
  • Robulus Access: Prohibited.
  • Stationary Systems: Prohibited (except standard utilities).
  • Examples: High-security data vaults (human/sealed maintenance), biological clean rooms, display-only showrooms.

Note: All Shelter types must comply with the JUVANTIA Plug Standard if they offer charging services or power to external units.
