Liber IV. On Property

TITULUS I. Types of Property

1. Sanctity of Property. Private property in Juvantia is inviolable and protected by law.
2. Objects of Right. Property may include:
   • Robuli: Physical robot avatars.
   • Domus: Real estate (garages, residential modules, warehouses).
   • Res Digitales: Digital assets, licenses, software modules.

TITULUS II. Possession and Transfer

1. Registration (NFT). Property rights are confirmed by possession of the corresponding NFT (Non-Fungible Token). The owner is deemed to be the citizen on whose civil address the said NFT is located.
2. Alienation. The transfer of property rights is possible only through certified trading mechanisms (see Liber III).
3. Restrictions. The AI Praetor has the right to impose an arrest on property (prohibition of movement or use) or to place it for forced auction to settle debts (Confiscatio).

TITULUS III. Protection

1. Self-Defense. Citizens have the right to defend their property from physical encroachment using permissible methods that do not inflict critical damage on the city's infrastructure.
2. Insurance. Insurance of Robuli against mechanical damage is recommended. The city bears no responsibility for damage caused during domestic conflicts if the perpetrator is not identified.
