Liber I. General Principles
TITULUS I. On Responsibility
- Universal Responsibility. Every citizen (Civis) and resident of Juvantia bears full responsibility for their actions, whether committed in the digital space of the city or through physical avatars (Robuli).
- Jurisdiction of the AI Praetor. Any action committed within the boundaries of Juvantia is subject to the assessment and judgment of the AI Praetor. Its decisions are based on algorithms of justice and the norms of Lex Digitalis.
- Inevitability. Ignorance of Juvantian laws does not exempt one from liability. The city's program code and the physical actions of robots are recorded in an immutable registry (on-chain), guaranteeing that concealment of offenses is impossible.
TITULUS II. Priority of Law
- Supremacy of the Constitution. No law or bylaw may contradict the Constitutio CJD.
- Digital Nature. In the event of a conflict between the physical intentions of an operator and the digital records of the registry, the registry record takes precedence, unless a technical failure or hack is proven.
